- Your diet is still only breast milk, and Tylenol when teething starts kicking butt.
- You are a very alert, interested baby now! Everything is a to be looked at and touched. Unfortunately, this means nap time has to be forced.
- We've noticed that you have reached the age where you only want Mommy and Daddy. Poor Grandma has had been exposed to some serious meltdowns. Sorry about that Mom!
- Bath time is WET. You love to splash!
- For some reason, you find Sadie hilarious. I'll admit, she is a little goofy looking but you seem to think she is a riot! I catch you staring and laughing at her all of the time.
- As of today, you have cut two teeth. The second is barely noticeable, but it's there.
- You are developing a little personality. You have a little fake cough that you like to do, and then look over at Mommy and see if it's going to get you any attention. Then you smile. I love it.
- You have learned to hold your arms up when you want out of your chair. It's very cute. Daddy taught you this trick.

Somebody put a brick on his head!
Today my still-in-my-head-newborn son is five months old. I marked this moment in time by forcing him to snuggle with me in bed. It's not easy to get a five month old boy to snuggle, especially considering his favorite toy in the whole world was on the nightstand next to my head (the remote control). But at last he obliged and we shared a special moment this morning that included lots of babbling and staring at his feet. Here is what I've learned about you, sweet boy -
