Routines

I like to use this blog as a journal in order to remember these precious baby days that seem to be passing by much to quickly.  So warning, this is a very boring post!  Mornings are my favorite time of day with Gabriel.   On days that I work, this is the typical routine.

• Gabriel wakes somewhere between 5 and 630.  Once he's done with stretching, I give him a big "Good Morning!" I usually get the biggest smile of the day.
• We have playtime in bed.  We do a little "Creep Mouse" or we have a tickle party.  He also loves to watch cartoons first thing when waking.  Yes, I let him watch tv.  OMG.
• Before I make the coffee, we take the dogs out front to retrieve the paper.  While the dogs do their business, Gabriel and I take a short walk down the sidewalk and look at the stars or the rising sun, depending on the time.  Sometimes we pray.
• Gabriel helps me feed the dogs.  Not really. He just watches but soon I hope to relinquish the task to him. 
• I have to get in the shower around 7.  While I shower, Gabriel plays with toys on the floor in the bedroom. 
• In between drying my hair and putting on make-up, I play with Gabriel on the floor. 
• I try to get in a nursing session before I have to leave at 750, but he usually is too busy exploring.
